All fees are in Euro.

Fees include:

Participation in main conference and any tutorial and/or workshop.
Proceedings of KI 2009*.
Lunch at the canteens during the conference from Tuesday to Friday during the breaks from 12-1:30 p.m.
The snacks and refreshments served in the foyer of the conference venue during the morning and afternoon breaks are also included.

Conference dinner: regular price: 65 EUR / student discount: 30 EUR (for details see below).

Workshop fees include:

Participation in any tutorial and/or workshop
Books of workshop abstracts
Lunch at the canteens on the day of workshop during the break from 12-1:30 p.m.
The snacks and refreshments served in the foyer of the conference venue during the morning and afternoon breaks on the day of workshop.

All workshops and tutorials will be held on September 15, at the HNF and/or at the HNI in Paderborn (locations will be announced on the workshop and tutorial sites). Please indicate on your registration form which tutorials and/or workshops you plan to attend.

Hint:
The date of receipt of the payment is critical; when paying by credit card this is the day of the online-registration. At the start of the conference participants who registered taking advantage of the discount options have to show proof of this at the reception desk.

Note that student registration fees do not include proceedings.

Conference Dinner

On September 17, the conference dinner will take place:

The evening reception including the awards ceremony is an inherent part of the conference and thus cannot be cancelled in the registration process.
It is listed separately here and on the bill strictly for tax purposes. Based on availability, additional tickets for the evening reception can be purchased for 75 Euros at the reception desk at the beginning of the conference.

Dates and opening hours of the conference office

The conference office (registration) is open Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Payment conditions

Please note that online-registration is possible only until September 10, 2009. If you do not meet this deadline, you can register directly by cash or credit card payment on-site or contact Christine Harms (christine.harms@izb.fraunhofer.de).

To register you may pay with credit card or via bank transfer. Please do not forget to indicate on the registration form:

Which Workshops/tutorials you plan to attend and
Whether you will join the conference dinner and whether you prefer a vegetarian menu.

Payment by bank transfer or credit card:

Please login to the conference tool and register for the conference, using the login you used for submission. If you have not a login yet, please create one.

Cancellation:

If cancellation is received in writing (e.g. via fax to +49 2241 14 2472) before August 30, 2009, the registration fee will be refunded, except for 30 EUR handling fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations after that date.

Further hints:

In exceptional cases you can determine another person to participate in the conference in your place. If you decide to make use of this option you are required to inform us in writing or by e-mail. You will find the contact information listed under "Contact".

The registration fee is due with the registration and has to be paid within 14 days of online-registration and no later than 7 days prior to the beginning of the conference. You are eligible for participation once we have received your entire payment.

If the conference should be cancelled your payments will be fully reimbursed. There are no further obligations of the organizer relating to the participant. In case the conference should be postponed registrations will remain valid.
