Artificial Intelligence
Paderborn | September 15 – 18, 2009
The 32nd Annual Conference on Artificial Intelligence will be held in 2009 at the University of Paderborn, Germany on September 15 - 18 continuing a series of successful events.
This conference aims to gather researchers and developers from academic fields and industries worldwide to share their research results covering all aspects of artificial intelligence. It will be an international forum for discussions on recent progress in different fields of artificial intelligence including, but not limited to:
|
|
Special area chairs representing the recent topics in AI will assure that each paper finds a competent reviewer and, when accepted, an adequate session.
Orthogonal to the scientific program of the conference three layers will be addressed:
This year's major theme will be the impact of AI methods and theories on the engineering domain. Nowadays, AI can be found everywhere in this field, in the production process as well as in smart products, although very often the influence of AI research remains hidden. The special focus on AI and Automation will present state-of-the-art topics and will help to bridge the gap between academia and industrial applications.
Besides the main conference program, it is a good tradition of the KI conferences to have a wide range of workshops and tutorials that allow practitioners in the field to exchange knowledge and ideas.
Last but not least, there will be ample opportunity to talk to colleagues and friends. Coffee breaks and an interesting social program will provide lots of opportunities for networking and will make the conference the community event.
The program committee cordially invites you to participate in the KI 2009 in one or more ways: if you want to present your work, join some of the workshops or attend the main conference, whatever your intentions might be you are welcome in Paderborn to the 32nd Annual Conference on Artificial Intelligence.
